Current status
CANNABLISS does not currently publish a business directory, featured listings or verified-business badges. This policy describes how license checks would work if a directory is approved after legal review.
Official sources first
License information is checked against official New York State sources, primarily OCM's public license records and dispensary verification tools. An uploaded image, screenshot, search listing or a business's own statement alone does not verify a license.
What we would record
For each business: legal and trade names, New York license number, category and status, the official source checked, the date checked, the next review date and the reviewer. Internal verification records and documents are not public.
Statuses
Pending — not yet checked. Verified — CANNABLISS matched the business to an active official record on the date shown. Verification expired — the review date has passed. Suspended — the official record or our review shows a problem. Rejected — the business could not be verified.
Unverified, expired, suspended or rejected businesses are never published as verified.
What “verified” means
“Verified” means only that CANNABLISS checked official records on a given date. It is not an endorsement, a state approval, a guarantee that a store is open, or permission for any advertisement. Readers should confirm current status with OCM.
